About Me
My interest in doing voice overs has been almost lifelong. As a child, I would watch cartoons and anime on TV and began to notice that multiple different characters sounded like they were being voiced by the same person. As I learned to imitate the voices I heard on TV, it got me thinking: "what if I could do this?" That got me curious about who the people were behind the microphone and how everything was created, recorded and put together. It seemed like a mysterious, magical process that was fascinating to learn about.
I also found a love for talk radio in high school and college, when I discovered the show "Loveline" with Adam Carolla and Dr. Drew. I would often come to school tired because I had spent the night before staying up late listening to them discuss all manner of subjects, in what felt like an intimate setting they were able to create with their listeners. This inspired me to become involved with talk radio for a number of years, spending as much time as I could in front of the mic to attempt to recreate that same magic.
These two experiences, along with the love of singing I found in adolescence, solidified my passion for using my voice as a source of expression, and as a way of connecting with people by providing a medium to communicate emotions, thoughts and ideas and sounds.
I'm passionate about using my voice in ways big and small, and will bring that enthusiasm, energy, and love of what I do to your project.
